From Friday Night: Heritage starts 2-0 for the Fourth Consecutive Season, taking a thriller on the road against a spirted effort from the Dow Chargers, who battled back from 21 points down.
Jeremiah Walker scored the Go Ahead TD in Overtime from 7 Yards Out for Heritage, with Nick Champagne pushed the lead to 7 on the Extra Point. The Chargers answered on a 3 Yard TD Run from Jameson Zimmer and then elected to go for 2 and the Win but the ball was batted away, ending Dow's hopes for a comeback Win.
Heritage QB Connor Grief finished with 80 Yards Rushing and a Score to go along with 69 Passing Yards, including a 45 Yard TD Pass to Daylin Taylor. Grayson Beam had a 80 Yard Fumble Recovery and took it the other way for a TD.
Dow was led by Jameson Zimmer's 141 All-Purpose Yards, scoring All 4 of the Chargers' TDs. Wynn Diegel led all Passers with 208 Yards and 2 TD Passes, 54 of those Yards to Ben Marinik. Max Brandt added 72 Rushing Yards.
